He didn't mention it was a 'fake warning' until much later, after this post was made.

Are all blind? He said there was a known exploit with bhopping and it looked like he did it. Either by mistake or not. He simply warned him about the exploit and that the Devs were watching for those actually abusing said exploit...

He even stated he was in the clear... so why the crying? You didn't get ban did you? So get over it.

They are doing their jobs and looking for exploiters.

after finding out he was wrong, he started saying that... see what he wrote at the top and look at the times

So, the free bunnyhop jump on the decline of terrain to gain momentum is an exploit?

Again... no one got ban and even on the first set of message he said it was just a warning.

If you get ban over not having enough evidence. Then yes that is messed up and reasonable for bashing the GM.

Here he did nothing wrong. He stated he was watching him and saw him do something that looked like an exploit so he gave a warning just in case he was exploiting. He didn't just outright ban him. Which technically has has the right to do as stated in the anti exploiting section of the rules on the forums.

No ban, nothing to cry about.

Wrong, a warning is a step closer to a ban regardless, if issued on the wrong premises its just WRONG.

Seems like a simple case of bad wording, not misconduct.  Also dotix is a fucking troll, rofl.

Correct, but they also have the right to permanent ban on first site of exploiting. Which he did not do. Example of this is you know... the players insta ban for exploiting the conversions at spawns...

At the very least the player could have provided proof to the GM via video recording and cleared this all up. Where is the proof that he wasn't exploting?

What about the bunnyhop from the knockback of an arrow in your back, midjump?

The bunnyhop from sidestepping while overweight?

I'll trust the devs thanks.

TRUST IN THE DEVS. FOR THEY ARE YOUR SALVATION TOLBIN.

IT IS THE WAY IT IS TOLBIN.

This is DND, not any other iteration of DF. Everything is slower, and more local. It is the way it is.

We recommend you read the conversation again with a rested mind.
We realize you might have been scared by being contacted by a GM, but it was just an information being given to you.

GM was called for a report, only saw a few jumps on flat terrain.
Figured he was called for that and warned the player of why he was being reported due to how it may look like to other players.

@AndroBourne
The confusion here is due to us using the term "warning" for a sot of "half a ban".
An account getting a final warning is one other infraction away from a ban, and it seems that this is what the user understood here.
He never committed any infraction before so he could not know that we talk about the ban when giving out such a warning.

The expression "just a warning" was a manner of speech that might be scary, even though in the context, it was used in the traditional meaning of the word.
Throw in a bit of lost in translation within the adrenaline of PvP, and you get an understandable confusion.

Guilty until proven innocent?
