repercussions of working alignment system and race wars
Let's take high end mobs farming as an example. Your group is well organized, mob leveled up and then another group comes, blue to you. Organization goes to hell while at the same time mob is much stronger, TTK is much longer. Holy shit, this could be a serious inconvenience. As you can't just kill them. While for sure not everyone will be eager to cooperate. Some will troll, some will try their best but be much worse at it than your group, slowing the process, etc

There is also a problem with loot. The only way loot works now is who ever grabs it first wins! But this could be fixed in near future (was promised to be fixed at least).

But what about the whole inconvenience with blues joining an already difficult spawn? This will create tension and actually make blue player life miserable in certain scenarios. Only thing that's possible is declaring War, right? It's costly, but not the cost is a problem. Game should build racial bond, not force us to WAR in such common scenarios like mob farming? Clearly it loos like being arac is more convenient?

Will it result in racial clans setting controlled land policy to lawless? But where is this mechanic? Also the more lawless areas in the game the less race wars and reasons to even stay racial.

@Ub3rgames have you thought about that? What is your answer to this?

Scary...so you have to engage with other players beyond just attacking and killing them? Scary...

Interesting reaction. As it looks like going red is an answer to presented problem, right? But it shouldn't be. Otherwise we will end up with the same all ARAC/RED clans as in previous versions of darkfall. While many hoped this version will be different.

Your inability to present your point without trying to ridicule someone aside - so your answer is talking them out of it. Well, not sure this will work but it could. Some mobs do not spawn often though. And some people/clans just do not give a fuck at all.

Just like IRL. Damn Putin doesn't want to give Tupolew back. But what poor Kaczor can do? They're blue to him!

Scaling shouldnt be instant and on the first hit,
it should require some damage or some healing

and Delevel should be quick if someone stays afk

I mean that the way darkfall was played at least for me was kinda Kill on sight any1 other then allies.
With the population we had any player blue or not was a potential fun fight thus content.

Right now it may change but sorry for keeping this mentality since in my times this was the way u played the game ;)

omg is it Joey???

oh its me alright :D Too bad i cant roleplay as dwarf tho ^^

Serious blues tend to cooperate. Simplest solution is to put everyone in the same group, and have a chat about looting. Won't work every time but it will work more often than before, as serious blues do not want to risk becoming red.

Have seen this happen in In Dev over and over again- random blues grouping up and cooperating. For a long term DFO player like me, it is pretty freaky- but it happens.

Non-serious blues won't care, and they will be red soon enough- and that will be the end of the problem you are describing.

The Devs have been clear for about 2 years that they want red to be a rare play style that is challenging and too hard for most players. Everything they have put into place is compatible with this vision.

There is another DF game where it does not matter, which is available to play. Having played InDev since day one, I am very impressed by the changes in game play even with the current, not finished version of the alignment system.

They didn't finish their alignment system and last time I checked their plan was for you to be able to loot your share of the loot only, without turning grey.

Mobs drop loot split up already, like level 3 drops 3 times 3 resins and not 9 in one stack. T
heir next step can be, that when you use F, you loot all that is yours or your parties.

Will we still have a problem after?
