Did Ubergames give up on DND?

Did you give up on DND or do you have a statement please?

Last active 15 nov (today is 23rd dec), forum full of pornographic porn spam, and the liquidation is ongoing... Hard to imagine this is salvageable.

Could be any number of things, but if you think about it... without Marc this project stops dead. Smaller companies like this can really go from great to terrible without warning because of this risk. There's nothing to do but play other games and check in every so often to see if something changed.

Its such a shame, such wasted potential, ROA is flourishing right now and we are all still waiting for just a statement from Marc, to prove to the community he still cares and is going to continue with the game.

Also with Atlas launching, he should definitely give his community a statement.

My dreams are all dead and buried
Sometimes I wish the sun would just explode
When God comes and calls me to his kingdom
I'll take all ya sons of bitches when I go!

Even IF Marc hasn't given up, and that's a huge IF... the state of the forums/patching/liquidation would be 100% Asberger's-level mismanagement.

In both scenarios, the game is 100% toast.

If the game is abandoned, I wish they would just shut the game and forum down.

Pretty much, can't get any closure cause they don't fix up or call it.

Reminds me of when they mentioned they were going to change spell linking to passives but didn't explain how it would work (they never implemented it) and never gave a proper response to people who were waiting for changes before committing to leveling spells. It was something like 5-7 months ago, and I only bothered to level spells 2 months ago when I finally changed back to mage. But by then it was already the end approaching.

I remember Radagast spent a couple months waiting for them to fix up magic schools (he went with a Witchcraft build) and by the time they implemented it he didn't care anymore. The stupidest thing is that the witchcraft rework came out like a test build months after launch and it's a total pile of crap. The mechanics are interesting, but it's a massive disappointment and the most useful thing in the school don't need a title anyway (Tongue Rot). Just ridiculously bad...

Thing is though people really wanted them to do well, we had a lot of patience but now it's just taking the piss. Shut it down or fix the game for focks sake.

^

and they still don't have any competition, RoA is dead (playing now, and even my 13 ping can't make that game good), Fallout 76 is a shitshow of item dup's, Atlas a fake "new game" that was a Ark DLC with a faked "trailer" that just might get themselves sued.

I don't get it either. I don't understand why he wouldn't say something- it's either they're looking for financing and they're going to keep working or they're going to close down,  it's not that hard- who really cares what the answer is at this point.

/fyi believe they did in fact link spells to passives

RoA isn't flourishing it still has a shit population for an mmo, but because of instant travel to anywhere at any time it feels overcrowded.

What's next:
After this patch, what's remaining on the combat changes checklist are missile fury and the review of polearms, maces and greatclubs.
Work on equalizing the magic and physical grind is nearly completed, and should come with a higher impact on utility potency from having the title.

This is in the last update 2.1 patch notes, but they were having discussions on the forum before this for a while. It was along the lines of linking offensive spells together with intensify or spells leveling with title faster (?) because mages have to grind and med every spell they use. The problem was they were so vague that it was never clear what exactly they were changing and how (it's the sentence "Work on equalizing the magic and physical grind is nearly completed") and even in the wording here you see they say it in a way that you wouldn't know what that meant exactly.

the patch notes in question (most recent lol) is 6 and a half months ago
