@Ub3rgames is the worst. If they could have implemented even 1/4th of their timeline there would still be people playing.

I feel like if we keep talkin shit the dudes gonna go kill himself and ima get extradited to France on some socialist murder charge for bullying a game developer to death.

Maybe if we all speak softly and tell Marc we love him he will come out of hiding.

now we are going with the ground hogs day approach. If Marc sees his shadow we get 6 more weeks of development?

It all boils down to implementation.  Both games got it wrong for different reasons. 

DND got it wrong by not having other mechanics to supplement / support local banking and no recall while RoA went crazy with how easy fast travel is available because they were near sighted and designed the system around having no population.  They were not ready for the influx of players the failure of DND brought about. 

Don't just say fast travel is bad as a blanket statement.  It has and always will be about finding a balance that neither game found.  I won't deny it would be hard to find that middle-ground... but it is there.
