Make it so come hither can be blocked.
I have pulled allies out of wof many times while they are parried up. Making come hither able to be parries basically just says fuck you to anyone who is in a WoF. Leave it as it is and let kids learn to play the game.

Uh it would still work if they're blocking while facing AWAY from you, it's not 360 coverage

You'll be pulling allies from the back in most scenarios anyway

It will be at least 3 weeks.
Ub3r is on vacation this month.

They will post when they have something new to say, in the meantime they are trying to finish the bindstone quest patch. What do you want, a personal phone call every day? Leave them alone to do their work.

Must be nice to take a month off shortly after releasing a game with only half the promised content.

Actually, it was 2 months.  They weren't around during July as well.

They are only few devs. Their time is surely better spent developing than replying to forums, until they can afford to pay for the overhead of hours spend communicating.

Reduced communication, sure.  But they've gone from 7 posts per day average (that's the actual statistic), to going more than a month without posting.  That's some serious "Tasos' School of Fucking Up a Great Product" style of management.

If doing a quick weekly summary post takes you more than 30 minutes (OK, maybe an hour) then you honestly need to hire a business manager.  Or helll, just nominate someone from the community, there is some passionate energy that could be EASILY harnessed.

There is the school of thought that says leave them alone, they are working. The other school says communicate to us more (once a week) so we know what's going on.
Of the two schools, more players will be lost due to non-communication than will be with communication.
Sure, that 10-30 minutes of writing  a week cuts into development time, but it also helps retain players by keeping interests with that elusive carrot.
Some may feel comfortable not hearing frequent updates, but most gamers are not. That's reality and one that Ub3r should be catering to. It's simple business practice.

Also this game is half-baked. A huge reason they should be communicating more regularly. It's a necessity.

Thats what I told Marc last month, because they are really selling the future of this game more than its current state they need to keep that vision alive in peoples minds, which is impossible in silence.
