PS2 was a decent game until they nerfed the fun out of it.

They also have no active dev team (only a skeleton crew remaining) because DBG pulled all resources from PS2 to try and rescue H1Z1, a game rapidly losing players to some other FFA game.

PS2 was well worth the little bit of money I put into it; a very solid game that a gamer can easily get 250+ hours out of.

I quite fondly remember grinding my turbo ANT roadkill directive last year (non-combat harvesting vehicle).

Many tears.

Shit like this (not my gif).

Edit: Game was/is also fun for the purely random shit that can happen, like this.

Beats me why DBG had to pull resources from a unique game like this to keep H1Z1 alive, which is nothing but an arena shooter with zombies.

Neat. Might have to try it again.
I'm an amateur GFX Artist. I created the RoA logo, BPG logo, many of the forum buttons, and edited their swirl.

But don't misunderstand: I hold no bias. I play both. Great devs on both sides- good, passionate people.

If you'd like GFX work message me.

The best thing about ps2 is how easy it is to find target rich environments and slaughter them by the bushel-fucking-barrel

You don't hear about it because DBG put it on a backburner with a 3-man development team in order to rescue H1Z1 to compete with PUBG. The remaining "team" only has the capacity to do design-based changes, so the game is in a perpetual state of nerf-all-the-things without much new things being added.

If you ask me, PS2 is a better and more unique game, they should have put more resources into it.

Ps2, though it didn't go the same direction as ps1 which I would have preferred,  is absolutely one of the most underrated games of all time, and it's f2p without being p2w. It's a great game and a shame it doesn't get more support from dbg.

Sorry to break it to you but half of them are now H1Z1 devs.

PS2 is one of the few games I keep track of still. Truthfully I do not know why, but likely because I did have a lot of fun in it in previous years and I'm hoping it gets a bit of a reboot.
