As far as gold sinks go, I think I'd rather things be way too expensive rather than far too cheap.

For instance, 10k to transport an item is easier to balance than 100g to transport an item. Because the choice of whether to use it has consequence if it's too expensive, the opposite if too cheap. This applies to many of the balancing issues the game has and will have in the future.

There is some new players, but overall game feels stale.
Vets have full banks + leveled chars with very little reason to log in and play.

I personally only log in for VCPs to keep up clan's meditation pool. Luckily, I did have PvP at 3 out of 6 last VCPs I went to, so there's still some fun to be had. But it's Ub3r's job to give us more reasons to log in.

they just need what type of casual features and content that would make players old and new log in to protect or collect ie some ideas would be
Rare deeds drops for pets or fluff items or colored weapons and armor dyes  etc etc to collect.
This game really needs a real farming house addon or new farming land zones so players can water and grow their own vegatables.
Allow random spwns of rare colored steedgrass so u can craft purple, or neon blue racial mounts etc etc.
theres literrally tons of  casual content liek this ub3r can ask the playerbase to give them ideas on  which casual content features would make us log in everyday to collect and maintence, i mean if you devs have no idea might as well ask the paying community.

You couldn't be any more wrong, no wonder you supported local banking and slow travel.

There's no question they've implanted some changes that were poorly thought out, or poorly executed.  But I have to violently disagree, this version is VASTLY better than 2009 DFO.

This is not a matter of fact, this is very much a matter of personal preferences

Their programming and fixing the client is awesome, just now the Darkfall sandbox world just needs stuff to do ingame and its pvp related. They need to either hire or get free consulation from a community thinker as to what type of sandbox feature this awesome game engine needs to bring in the casuals and new players to this gameworld. Also what content it needs not pvp related to make the veterans happy to come back and play again with danger and full loot pvp in the background as it was meant to be.

darkfall should not be developed from the point of view ' Pvp First tunnel vision' But more of a "Large community of different groups of similiar minded and politically minded  players spread across the game world with its cultures and ideals to protect "

You can literally make anything and remember the password long enough to activate.
After that, who cares...
(also, did you know your browser can remember passwords and usernames, so really...its quite simple)

As for sending a message....
I understand banning them would give a better first impression of the boards. But if you actually bother to read it a few times in a week you will find one of these negative posts and at that point you begin to wonder howmuch is censord.

You need a CM to guide the forum into a healthy envoirment, with not only the tools and permissions...but also an hour or two every (other) week to discuss things with the devs that came up in the forum. Because people want answers at some point, not just a reply.

The dev's clearly dont have the time to do this, because it would be an hour or two a day minimum, but somebody who knows the game a bit and can give the standard responses and can get a discussion to a place where arguements and logic are applied to problems would be usefull. At that point he could take the distilled feedback in his (bi)weekly meeting and get the dev PoV on it.
He can then couple that back on the forums, all with the understanding that the CM isnt a real dev that makes decisions so his statements do not carry the same weight as uber's ofc.
