I heard it all, nice, I like how Marc (and Co.), once again come out: humble, professional, focused.

If Marc ever reads this I wonder if he could clarify his comment on the market places.  The linked market places were described to be  by faction but then 7 cities were mentioned as linked.  So a linked market is actually by race I think(?)

Also, for the Chaos Cities, it sounded like the 3 center cities have a linked market place but then each other Chaos City has a separate, isolated, market place.  Is that right?

Any clarification appreciated.

Also for all those who didn't listen: Marc gave a strong warning near the end about not going red too soon or you might regret it, unless you're absolutely committed to that playstyle.

Market places aren't linked at all. And weren't intended to be, unless that's now changed @Ub3rgames?

Maybe it is the accent that made it unclear, but banks and markets are not linked and never were intended to be.
Banks or markets are all separate.

Do we get a patch today, or was it only the accent that made it unclear?

Please delete this thread, I was hoping to keep a lot of this information to myself. :)

I'm a regular listener to this podcast and am very happy with CoolIt's new philosophy with regard to playing Darkfall.

See you in Fire Run Ork brother from another hemisphere.

My mistake.  I thought from a post I read here some time ago by a player that the markets were all linked per race homeland area (i.e., if you dropped a for sale item in any one city the item would be listed and delivered automatically to any other city vendor in the given race area.) The way you described them I made an error in a reading into your answer to the question (@ around 17 min) that they were "linked" (a word you never used.)

(Basically, more straight forward would be to have said that each NPC city has a solo, discrete market place.)

Some of us are already made enough money to retire/semi-retire before age 50 :)
