General Discussion / Re: Last version of DF you played
Last post by KevinDL -
The question is a little stupid.  Most anyone that enjoyed DFO 1.0 and was aware of RoA likely tried that version regardless of how quickly they may have quit. I'm expecting most people to answer with RoA because it was the last version of DF to release before DND.

If anyone here played  AOS UO, I'd buy a valorite platemail skin for my shulgans. Shit, even if it was a one mount use deed you buy from the cash shop, I'm down. FashionFall always wins

you literally think people have fireball magma inferno and lightning stike all on 1 button and that its an unfair advantage?

6 min response time?  are you on the shittier too?

lol on-call at work and bored out of my mind.

so youre telling me that on roa everyone has 1 button that just cycles magma fireball inferno fireball lightning strike pungent?

No cool downs. So people put all rays, all knockups, all AOE's on the their same associated key. One key for rays, one key to cycle knockups, one  key to cycle AoE's- welcome to 2009 revisted here in 2018 on RoA..

It does work that way in RoA.

Must have been my imagination that every mage used this in DF1, you set timers in every AHK spell cycle, every mage uses it in RoA and every mage here would use it if you could.......

- 99.9% of people do not use scripts in RoA.  A few people use backup sword and board because some people have an issue where the built in one sometimes does not hold the parry correctly.  This is a bug that has been reported.

- 99.9% of good players in DF1 used scripts because you need to if you want to be a top tier player.

- If this game has a big competitive scene all top players here will also use scripts unless they address common binding use cases.  If you want to be the best at something you have to use every advantage possible.

I can't believe this needs to be spelled out to you.  You are a god damn idiot and should shut the hell up.

Ya no shit genius. I posted this exact thing in my response. ~Reading comprehension~, I wish you had some. Ub3ergames has stated before they have no intention of adding this, so I'll let you guys continue on about how this isnt "an advantage" and just about the mount-food stuff lol.

Surprised nobody asked for the ability to draw your bow and auto-fire with the UI since we are talking about just "streamlining" and shit

You are legit brain-dead.

ALMOST ALL PEOPLE USE SCRIPT TO DO HARD BUTTONS SO THEY PLAY GOOD
IF FIX BUTTONS, NO MORE SCRIPT NEEDED
NOW PEOPLE NO NEED MAKE SCRIPTS TO BE GOOD
NOW U NO NEED MAKE SCRIPT TO COMPETE WITH ALL OTHERS IN DND

is this fucking clear?  did you just forget what you posted before or something?

RRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Well then keep using your script Nancy? Because Uber games is not giving you that competitive edge you crazy derp hurr diamond.

I buy dumb stuff all the time... If ROA would put in different colored spells id buy it. If they had a bank sitting outfit that just looked cool and had no functionality id probably buy it. Que a top hat and tux please :)

I've been mmoing for almost 20 years im in my late 30's I have disposable cash.... nothing different then me enjoying my hobby just like some dude who goes and buys some new rims for his car.

i wish we had caravans and i could buy rims and paintjobs for them, even better if you can farm colors and sell your ride after customizing and making it look good
that and the suspension that makes your caravan bounce like a lowrider

lol you joke but I would totally buy some "caravan skin" that looked badass and different than the normal one.
